12.6

Disclaimer: this post is unlike ANY on my blog... it will be 100% void of all pictures :(

Allow me to explain...

I had started typing this up a few days after his actual 18 month "birthday" and had intended on finishing with pictures after the boy went to bed.  Unfortunately, hubby had other plans with our (almost brand new, still shiny, and very expensive) laptop and decided it needed a bath... ok ok, so completely unintentional, and a very expensive lesson learned, but nonetheless, here I am without my laptop and thus, without my pictures.

I'd be lying if my heart didn't break for a few days while we anxiously awaited news on our hard drive.

THANKFULLY, all of my our pictures and data has been saved...

So for now, I'm posting when I can from my work computer, because I don't want to miss any posts.

A year and a half old - crazy how time flies.
You are absolutely thriving and I truly LOVE this age.
You laugh at yourself every chance you get - which of course gets everyone around you laughing
Your favorite day is Saturday - we go and see Papa every week and you get super excited EVERY time.
We will be starting your transition to a big boy bed and new room very soon.  I'm so excited to experience this next phase but at the same time it is sad knowing that you are growing up!  I need to start cleaning out the spare bedroom and then we can buy your bed.

You recently started day care full time and we are all loving it!
Your vocabulary is growing like crazy and you are ALWAYS talking.
You are also starting to consistently nap 2-3 hours (when 1-1.5 was previously acceptable to you), and this has helped a ton with sleeping better at night, and your overall mood before and after day care.
You are also coloring a lot - it helps that day care has been doing a letter a week and usually 3-4 days per week you color something of that letter.
Since starting full time day care, you are also eating a lot of things you normally wouldn't (mac n cheese, PB sandwiches, corn dogs).  I think it helps to see everyone else eating the same things.

You are truly entertainment central... you laugh like crazy at yourself, which gets mommy and daddy laughing, which makes you laugh more.  You have the most contagious laugh I've ever heard.

You still think Baby is in your belly, but hey, at least you know baby is in A belly somewhere!

Your favorite words this month are:
Mine (everything is yours, or so you think)
Choo Choo
Brycen
Juice
Please

We are working on our last 4 molars - and hoping they come through quickly - although not fussy, you are into biting your fingers, toys, and sometimes mommy and daddy's shoulders (OUCH!)

Quick stats recap:
Love sleep
Eating us out of house and home!
size 5 shoe
cloth diapers during the day, disposables overnight
18 month clothes

16 teeth
Nicknames: Bubba
